hiya, this week-end was fun! we were drunk like everyone else.. and magically a dance party erupted in the middle of the store to THEM JEANS discobelle mix vol 1.(download it!)

the magic of the night inspired us to begin planning a massively amazing dance party night mid-july. our fairly solid date is the 12th, so get ready! theme, name and more details to come.

well canada day weekend is here and the shops been pretty busy, 

i'm racin' matt to try and get this post up.

i'm kind of exhausted from the Smothered in Hugs cd release that was last night, you can check out a song or two from their new disc The Healing Power of Injury over HURR. 

it was a crazy night of daceing brought to the island by the newly formed T-RECKS CREW.

hey everyone,

just posting re: yoga on sundays. beginning next sunday we'll be starting yoga drop-ins upstairs. one class beginning at 10:30, the second at 1-- each class going for an hour.

all are welcome!
bring your own mat, 1 five dollar bill, some water and have a nice sunday.

don't mix. . .

mr. sign isn't looking to good today because the rain's coming down faster than the walls of jerico.

but other than that it's a great day, last night we had our first movie night and it went over well. 

people brough blankets, pillows, couch surfers and colouring books, it was a really fun night and next thursday can't come soon enough! if you have a movie you need to watch with a bunch of scruffy people, leave it in the comments.

i'm listening to el perro del mar! we're having a movie night on thursday.. show starts at 9:30.. come! i'll be bringing the popcorn..

we're watching miranda july's "me and you and everyone we know". earlier this month jenn lent me her book of short stories entitled "no one belongs here more than you" which i've been pecking away at since. it should be a good movie! come come!

sleepy sundays..

today i'm updating as i lay on our great big couch upstairs. currently we've got jeff mcguigan's work up on our walls. it's real nice and real fun! also, we've been surprised by tristan with the gift of a piano. sooo c'mon down and play us a song, or just lay on the couch--whichever you prefer, really.
